Either through legislation and/or national movement, limit of 8 years in the House and 12 years in the Senate, unless elected to the Executive Branch.
Clean up the mess that is our muddled immigration system.
-These young people need an expedited pathway to become citizens.
-The parents that brought their children over illegally will have to face consequences. As long as they are law abiding they should also have a pathway to stay, but not become citizens since the did not follow the legal process.
Our Government was designed to work from the ground up, not the top down!
-Learn and use the Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates and implement it where needed. -Allow duly elected officials in Cities, Counties, and States determine what is best for the citizens.
Grant equal protections of our constitutional rights to the unborn, as well as the born.
Our veterans have been the ultimate demonstration of John 15:13; "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
- Benefits for our veterans have been lacking and full of delays in service. This must be fixed!
Consider forced vaccinations to be a direct violation of the 1st amendment of personal liberty.
Strong advocate of the 2nd amendment.
No worker should be forced to join or pay dues to a labor union in order to get or keep a job.
The Holy Spirit placed this task upon me in February of 2018 and I was afraid; I had never even contemplated any political office. So as I began to accept the task before me, it has been clear what His direction is for me. So as we set forth on this grass rooted and almost herculean effort to unseat a 5 term incumbent, I ask the Lord to guide my steps and prepare those with ears to hear in order to accomplish this task.
There are so many things that could be done right here in our district that could improve life for us all. Economic windfalls and activities abound, but are being restrained by bureaucratic red tape.
If elected, I pledge and commit to the citizens of Southwest Missouri to execute the office to the best of my ability and do only those works that benefit the majority of the constituents of the district.
If elected to *serve* (key word), I will limit my term to a maximum of 8 years and refrain from using the office for personal financial gain. Any funds that become available (aside from the standard salary) will be put towards the benefit of the constituents of Southwest Missouri. Three of my top projects for such funds are:
1) paying for lunches for children who are not getting to eat at schools 2) helping those with drug and alcohol addiction who desire sobriety to start a rehabilitation program
3) fight with determination against the opioid issue that still plagues our communities in Southwest Missouri.
These projects are also topics I feel that need addressed and supported with legislation to reduce bureaucratic red tape in order to provide these services to those in need.
I have lived in Neosho since September of 1984. For 15 years I worked in the motorcycle business, and as a General Manager at Don’s Honda (1985 to 1995), Joplin Honda (1995), and Pro-Cycle Honda of Springfield (1995 to 1998). From there, I moved into the real estate field and have spent over 20 years as a Realtor. I became a charter member of the Missouri Statewide Professional Standards and Grievance committee in 2000 and have been actively involved since that time.
On a personal note, I have helped raise eight children and have eight grand-children, and am active in the community and my church. When time allows, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and going for a motorcycle ride.
